The needle support cap fits over the needle and luer lock nozzle of the syringe barrel. It serves two purposes when injecting an animal: 1. it prevents trauma from the needle hub, and 2. supports the needle to prevent the needle from being levered out if sideways movement occurs during injection.
There are 3, 5 and 10 mL needle support caps to choose from. These fit the 3, 5 or 10 mL syringe adapters of the JW Jabstick.
